3. Grain Store

Almost built directly onto the Löwenberg Palace is the Department and Grain Store. What strikes you about this building is the massive Renaissance-style portal that originates from the time before the destruction of 1689. The department store was the trade and storage centre of the town. This was where the obligatory tax - der Zehnter - was collected.
