Timber Rafting and Traffic Museum

The old gate-keeper’s lodge a building that is classified as a historical monument, has been housing the Timber Rafting and Traffic Museum since 1991. The lower floor is wholly dedicated to log driving. The second floor shows exhibits on the Kinzig river and on forestry. In the media room, documentaries on timber rafting, forestry and woodworking are shown. The top floor houses the special exhibition “Fascination Black Forest Railway”.
